NEEDLING THINGS: Circular Knit Dishcloth

I am sure I came across this pattern like on Pinterest, or Ravelry.  At any rate, it is an easy knitting pattern, but I think, very lovely as well!  Done up in garter stitch, the pattern calls for yarn overs, and short rows to create ‘wedges’ until it is round, then you just sew up the seam and close the center hole.

“This pattern is taken from a much photocopied, old typewritten pattern that has been in my possession for over 25 years. There is no authors name on it. Following is what is written on that original pattern. Any changes or additions for clarification done by me will be shown in purple.”

Here’s the pattern link:  EDLING THINGS: Circular Knit Dishcloth.

And here is my first attempt.  I ended with 7 wedges, because I used a scrap piece of yarn that was too short for 8.  It turned out just fine.  Not perfect, but . . . I don’t think the dishes, or the kitchen counter will mind.  😀

Sooo, this is post is a long time coming . . . slowly finding ‘normal’.   Feeling grateful for each new day!
