I guess I took my sweet time with this one . . . but, here ya go:

Photos don't do this one much justice. Can't get the colors just right, but you get the idea . . .

three-strand afghan, homespun, one pound yarn 002

A very simple “V-Stitch” pattern. Made with a US size “S” 19.00mm hook and three strands of yarn held together, two strands of any worsted weight yarn with one strand of Lion Brand Homespun yarn.

Edged it all with two rows of single crochet, and voila – done.

Very open, worked in a V-Stitch and large hook.

I like the way the Lion Brand Homespun changes color . . . I think I got about 2 or 3 pounds of yarn used up with this lovely!  Somehow, still doesn’t look like I made much of a dent.

I hope everyone has had a splendid Easter Sunday . . . we’ll be hanging out with family later on today.

About gmaellenscraftycorner

I am a recently widowed, mother of three wonderful, grown children, G-Ma (Grandma) to seven beautiful grandchildren. I work full time at a nearby grocer as the Pricing Coordinator. In my spare time, I craft and blog. Crochet is my obsession, my compulsion. My best friend, my therapist. I also have learned I love to knit! Who knew??? I may never be a master knitter, but I am a happy knitter. :D Work, family, Women's Pool League, crafting and blogging. Pretty much takes up every waking minute of every day, but besides that I love movies and music (which I can enjoy while I am crafting!). And here I thought I didn't have a life! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog. I appreciate every click. :D My Etsy www.etsy.com/shop/gmaellen
