I have been wanting to learn to do ‘short rows’ in my knitting for awhile now. I don’t know why I thought it would be too complicated! The most difficult thing about short rows is picking up the wraps around the wrapped stitches. It just takes a little patience, and some finagling.
This scarf pattern is fairly easy. I started my spiral scarf this morning. So, as you can see, it goes fairly quickly. I am no speed-knitter, yet! (I have something of a short attention span, so I bounce around from project to project.) My ambition is to find a nice pattern like this with some lacy edging. Wouldn’t that be spectacular?
Here is a video from Very Pink Knits on YouTube. Stacy is my ‘go-to’ girl for knitting tutorials. She explains everything so well, and makes you just believe you can do it. She also gives you a link to the FREE pattern!
Well, that’s it for today. Now I am going to work on this scarf until my eyes are blurry . . . 😀
