I Need A Model . . . any volunteers???

I have made three cowls/infinity scarves with this stitch. It’s a little addicting.  I call it an ‘expanded’ extended single crochet stitch.  It’s very squishy and soft.  It is also surprisingly light-weight.

This one’s made with Lion Brand Homespun yarn. Very soft, and very warm!

A Slouchy Beanie and Cowl, made with Paton’s Design yarn.

A ‘finished’ cowl . . . (which I am not altogether happy with, but, I think it’s as good as I am going to do right now.)    I remember now why I don’t do motifs with Simply Soft.  Those little ends just keep showing, and showing.  Not a good idea to trim them, ’cause they just keep coming back.  Eventually there’s no more yarn to trim and I am afraid it’ll all just start falling apart!

I ended up with three motifs high and seven around. No other finishing. It looks much better on! Thus . . . models needed. :p

My plan is to get as many cowls, hats and wrist-warmers made up as I can for an upcoming craft show.  Then, as many more made up as I can to cover all the Christmas gifts as I need!  My list is long!!!

  1. What, precisely, is an expanded extended single crochet stitch? I’m familiar with extended singles, but how do you expand on that?
